Junius Hanna

The only student killed in the quake was Junius Robert Hanna, a sophomore from Bradford, Pennsylvania, who was working his way through school. He was crushed by a chimney that fell four floors in Encina. He was one of only two casualties on campus the morning of April 18, 1906, the other being Otto Gerdes.
